Screws are designed for the transportation of powder and granular materials. Depending on the type of material to be transported, there are U and pipe type screw conveyors. U type screw conveyors are designed in horizontal and slightly inclined (10° - 20°) positions. Pipe type screw conveyors can generally be designed as horizontal and inclined (0°- 90°).

Sectors where screw conveyors are generally used are cement, glass, plaster, lime, concrete, grain and food sectors.

Special designs are made according to the type of materials to be transported and the desired capacities:

• Special intermediate bearing applications in large sizes (bronze, tungsten carbide).

• Different wear plates (HB400-500, Tivar) according to the abrasiveness of the material to be transported.

• Material options suitable for sectors; S235JR, S355JR, stainless.

• Steel helical windings (single, double, triple). Feeding and discharge options from one or more points.

• Different speed options (S-600 rpm).
